ABSTRACT
Abstract Climate and environmental changes threaten human mental health, but the impacts of specific conditions on neuropsychiatric disorders remain largely unclear. Here, we show impact a humid heat environment brain gut microbiota using conditioned housing male mouse model. We demonstrate that can cause anxiety-like behaviour in mice. Microbial 16 S rRNA sequencing analysis reveals caused dysbiosis (e.g., decreased abundance Lactobacillus murinus ), metabolomics an increase serum levels secondary bile acids lithocholic acid). Moreover, increased neuroinflammation is indicated by elevated expression proinflammatory cytokines cortex, activated PI3K/AKT/NF-κB signalling microglial response cortex. Strikingly, transplantation from mice reared readily recapitulates these abnormalities germ-free mice, are markedly reversed administration. Human samples collected during season also decrease acid concentration. In conclusion, induced drives progression anxiety impairing metabolism enhancing neuroinflammation, probiotic administration potential therapeutic strategy for disorders.
