ABSTRACT
We theoretically and numerically propose an open bend tunnel with the capability of realizing ultra-broadband unidirectional transmission. The designed can isolate acoustic wave incidence from opposite directions substance like fluids or objects exchange freely by employing gradient metasurface. underlying mechanism is due to apparent negative reflection in frequency range when incoming angle impinging on metasurface over critical incidence. numerical results keep a good agreement theoretical analyses. proposed design could be employed generate various situations, broadband noise control, architectural acoustics ultrasound imaging.
