ABSTRACT
This study evaluated dental caries detection ability between the Qraycam and Qraypen on same lesions. A total of 178teeth from 61patients were imaged using C®(QC) Pro®(QP) devices analysis software (QA2). Occlusal, secondary, proximal scored according to International Caries Detection Assessment System(ICDAS II) X-ray criteria. Bland-Altman plots used compare quantitative light-induced fluorescence(QLF) parameters obtained different QLF devices. Sensitivity, specificity, area under receiver operating characteristic curve(AUROC) calculated. The ΔFaver. QLF-parameters showed that mean difference two was close zero ± 5 error value included in 1.96SD range for caries. accuracies diagnosing occlusal 0.83-0.96 0.81-0.82 0.52-0.62 0.52-0.71 QC QP devices, respectively. In conclusion, diagnostic mainly screening demineralized teeth. For teeth selected through screening, depth lesion must be precisely additional radiographic imaging.
