ABSTRACT
Abstract Developing novel lanthanide metal-organic frameworks (Ln-MOFs) to rapidly and reliably differentiate both metal ions in solution volatile organic compounds (VOCs) vapor is highly challenging. Here, we describe versatile Eu 3+ /Tb -MOFs based on a flexible ligand. It noteworthy that the film fabricated using bimetallic 0.47 Tb 0.63 -MOF polyvinyl alcohol could serve as an easy convenient luminescent platform for distinguishing different VOCs. The exhibits notable fingerprint correlation between ions/VOCs emission intensity ratio of Ln-MOFs. As result, Ln-MOFs show fast recognition Fe ion with response time <10 s, can effectively probe styrene within 4 min. Since developed Ln-MOF stable reliable, this work presents promising strategy explore platforms capable sensing
