ABSTRACT
Abstract The aim of this study was to construct reference ranges for the uterine artery (UtA) mean pulsatility (PI) and resistance (RI) indices from 1–8 weeks postpartum. A prospective, cross-sectional observational performed with 320 healthy women week 1 through 8 UtAs were examined transvaginally using colour pulsed Doppler imaging means right left values PI RI, as well presence or absence a bilateral protodiastolic notch, recorded. 5 th , 50 95 percentile curves UtA-PI UtA-RI derived regression models. adjusted intervals uncovered convergence trend at time-point, although impedance lower time-point in multiparous compared primiparous women. notching prevalence 22.5% (9/40) 95.0% (38/40) 8. revealed consistent evidence progressive increase postpartum provided new average charts Multiparity does not change but impart rate increase, likely consequence previous vascular structural functional differences.
