ABSTRACT
Abstract This paper introduced a process to prepare the carbon nanosphere (CNS)/NiCo 2 O 4 core-shell sub-microspheres. That is: 1) CNSs were firstly prepared via simple hydrothermal method; 2) layer of NiCo precursor was coated on CNS surface; 3) finally composite annealed at 350 °C for hours in air and CNS/NiCo sub-microspheres obtained. sub-microsphere with simple, economical environmental-friendly method suitable large-scale production, which expects promising electrode candidate high performance energy storage applications. Electrochemical experiments revealed that exhibited remarkable electrochemical performances capacitance desirable cycle life rates, such as: maximum specific up 1420 F/g 1 A/g; about 98.5% retained after 3000 charge-discharge cycles; retention 72% as current density increase from A/g 10 A/g.
