ABSTRACT
Abstract In this work, a nanoporous template with controllable channel diameter was used to simulate the oil storage ability of shale pore throats. On basis wetting behaviours at nanoscale solid-liquid interfaces, seepage in nano-channels different diameters examined accurately and systematically determine effect on capacity. The results indicated that lower threshold for throat 20 nm, under certain conditions. This proposed size provides novel, evidence-based criteria estimating geological reserves, recoverable reserves economically oil. new understanding processes could revolutionize related industries.
