ABSTRACT
Abstract An innovative technology has been developed involving a simple and sensitive optical spectrometric method termed matrix-assisted plasma atomization emission spectrometry (MAPAES) for surface sampling elemental analysis using piece of filter paper (FP) sample introduction. MAPAES was carried out by direct interaction the tail plume with matrix surface. The FP absorbs energy from source releases combustion heating to analytes originally present on its surface, thus promote excitation process. phenomenon observed multiple elements. served as partial producer also substrate adsorb solution. Qualitative quantitative determinations metal ions were achieved atomic measurements elements Ba, Cu, Eu, In, Mn, Ni, Rh Y. detection limits down pg level linear correlation coefficients better than 0.99. proposed provides new way which offers advantages fast speed, little consumption, less pretreatment, small size cost-effective.
