ABSTRACT
Abstract Thermal fluctuations significantly affect the behavior of microscale systems rotating in shear flow, such as microvortexes, microbubbles, micromotors, microactuators and other elements lab-on-a-chip devices. The influence Brownian torque on motion individual magnetic microparticles a field is experimentally determined using optical tweezers. Rotational induces flattening breakdown transition between synchronous asynchronous modes microparticle rotation. experimental findings regarding rotation presence are compared with results numerical dynamics simulations.
