ABSTRACT
Abstract Acute myocardial infarction induces activation of the acute phase response and infiltration leukocytes to infarcted area. Moreover, myocardium that is remote from ischemic area also becomes inflamed. Inflammatory reaction clears dead cells matrix debris, while prolongation or expansion inflammatory results in dysfunction following infarction. Wnt glycolipoproteins are best characterized as regulators embryonic development. Recently several reports suggest they contribute adult animals. However, effects proteins on have not been explored. Here we show Wnt11 expression leads significant improvements survival cardiac function by suppressing multiple kinds heart. protein suppresses gene cytokines through modulation NF-κB vitro . These reveal a novel regulation provide rationale for use manipulate human diseases mediated inflammation.
