ABSTRACT
The influence of aerosols on climate is highly dependent the particle size distribution, concentration, and composition. In particular, latter influences their ability to act as cloud condensation nuclei, whereby they impact coverage precipitation. Here, we simultaneously measured concentration from sea spray over North Atlantic board exhaust-free solar-powered vessel "PlanetSolar", surface physico-chemical parameters. We identified organic-bearing particles based individual fluorescence spectra. Organic-bearing display specific spatio-temporal distributions compared total aerosols. propose an empirical parameterization with a dependence water salinity sea-surface temperature only. also show that very rich mixture organic emitted surface. Such data will certainly contribute providing further insight into formation, be used input for improved modeling role in global processes.
