ABSTRACT
We describe a novel tunable approach for the synthesis of carbon nanotube-silica nanobead composites. The control nanotube morphology and bead size coupled with versatility silica chemistry makes these structures an excellent platform development biosensors, or optical, magnetic catalytic applications.
