ABSTRACT
Here we reported on the synthesis and characterization of Co3O4 gillyflower-like nanostructures (termed as CGN) with peroxidase-like activity via an L-arginine-assisted hydrothermal approach. The CGN were characterized by a wide range physicochemical techniques. temperature-dependence magnetic measurement (M–T) shows very low Néel temperature (TN) 10.6 K, due to finite-size scaling effect. catalysed reaction peroxidase substrate 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) give same colour changes horseradish (HRP, most commonly used catalyst in enzymatic reaction). And catalysis presented typical Michaelis–Menten kinetics, exhibited excellent catalytic efficiency. This study demonstrated that owns intrinsic activity.
