ABSTRACT
Co3O4 mesocrystals with concave octahedral structures were successfully prepared by a facile, polymer-mediated route. The are obtained from the oriented aggregation of primary nanocrystals their six identical [100] directions. After thorough investigation structure as function adopted preparation parameters such reaction time and amount polymer, gas sensing performance was studied formaldehyde ethanol probe analytes. It found that they show high sensitivity good response recovery characteristics. As compared powder, exhibit 1.8-fold 1.4-fold enhancement in responses to 100 ppm ethanol, respectively.
