ABSTRACT
The surface wettability control of solid materials has been considered as an essential aspect chemistry. In the past decade, superhydrophobic surfaces have revealed a cornucopia novel structural and functional properties, exhibiting considerable importance in both fundamental research practical applications. this review, we summarize recent developments with unique properties. Both fabricative methods working performance multidisciplinary functionalities including self-cleaning, icephobicity, anti-corrosion, drag reduction, transparency, anti-reflection, color, droplet transportation, anisotropy, oil–water separation, water supporting force, superamphiphobicity responsive switching, discussed briefly. Finally, current challenges future prospects dynamic field are based on our own opinion.
