ABSTRACT
Zinc oxysulfide (ZnO<sub>0.6</sub>S<sub>0.4</sub>) nanoparticles were prepared and used as an effective visible-light-driven (VLD) photocatalyst for the inactivation of <italic>Escherichia coli</italic> K-12 first time.
