ABSTRACT
The 2LiBH4-MgH2 + 20 wt% BaTiO3 composite was prepared by ball-milling LiBH4, MgH2 and BaTiO3, the effect of on hydrogen storage properties investigated. TG-DSC results show that onset dehydrogenation temperature is 299 °C, which 124 °C lower than 2LiBH4-MgH2, amount increases from 6.86 to 7.48 at 500 °C. Kinetic tests reaches 1.5 within 400 seconds, almost 10 times 2LiBH4-MgH2. reacts with LiBH4 during generates BaB6 TiO2. beneficial stability while TiO2 has a catalytic in improving hydrogenation/dehydrogenation kinetics reaction between Mg LiBH4.
