ABSTRACT
We report phase selective synthesis of intermetallic nickel silicide nanocrystals in inorganic molten salts. NiSi and Ni2Si are obtained by reacting a nickel(ii) salt sodium Na4Si4 the LiI-KI eutectic mixture. that precursors to active electrocatalysts oxygen evolution reaction (OER) may be low-cost alternatives iridium-based electrocatalysts.
