By using the wood of paper mulberry as raw material, Co and MnO hetero-nanoparticles was in situ immobilized onto N-doped hierarchical activated carbon (Co@C,MnO-NAC) as ORR/OER bifunctional catalyst for rechargeable Zn–air batteries (RZABs).
