ABSTRACT
Polyurethane (PU) materials with movable crosslinking were prepared by a typical two-step synthetic process using an acetylated γ-cyclodextrin (TAcγCD) diol compound. The soft segment of PU is polytetrahydrofuran (PTHF), and the hard consists hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) 1,3-propylene glycol (POD). synthesized exhibited mechanical characteristics network, presence hydrogen bonds from urethane resulted in synergistic effect. Two kinds noncovalent bond increased Young's modulus material without affecting its toughness. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy X-ray scattering measurements performed to analyze effect introducing on internal microphase separation structure PU, results showed that carbonyl groups TAcγCD could form chains introduction weakened between segments PU. When stretched, suppressed orientation polymer (shish-kebab orientation) tensile direction. properties crosslinked show promise for future application industrial field.
