Effect of hydroxy groups on X-ray-induced reactions of azo benzene derivatives

We investigated the role of the hydroxy group in the cleavage of the azo bond with X-rays. From the results of the product analysis, it was suggested that nonspecific degradation is promoted as the number of hydroxy groups increases.
