Synthetic access to organyl-substituted 1,2,3-benzodiazaborines with turn-on fluorescence activity

We report a convenient and inexpensive two-step synthesis to organyl-substituted 1,2,3-benzodiazaborines (DABs), leading to a series of luminescent borates derived therefrom.
