ABSTRACT
Abstract Background Mondor's disease is a rare entity characterized by thrombophlebitis of the subcutaneous veins anterolateral thoraco‐abdominal wall. The most common clinical manifestations are painful cord, sensation tension, and skin retraction. This condition usually benign self‐limited process, although it has been associated with breast cancer. Methods We describe four new cases, two men women, comment on signs possible etiopathogenic features. General physical examination, radiologic ecographic studies, laboratory analysis including tumor markers, exhaustive coagulation study were carried out all patients. Results No cases malignant and/or hypercoagulability stage. With conservative treatment, evolution proved favorable in Conclusions but we recommend studies mammography order to rule presence systemic disorders, especially
