ABSTRACT
Abstract Background : Meteorologic factors play a role in the expression of asthmatic symptoms; however, there are controversies about causal relationship between meteorologic and asthma. The parameters emergency admissions for symptoms this hospital were analyzed. Methods A total 205 patients (130 boys 75 girls, 0.1–16.6 years age) who admitted to Hakodate Chuo General Hospital 1 January 31 December 1997 submitted our study. We divided 365 days into two groups with without any admissions. 1–3 before hospitalization compared those no Statistical analysis was done Mann–Whitney U ‐test. Results On day hospitalizations, barometric pressure higher relative humidity lower than on diurnal difference maximum minimum temperature larger that Conclusions It is thought change pressure, had some influence worsening symptoms.
