ABSTRACT
Summary The world's major crops are deficient in lysine and several other amino acids essential for human animal nutrition. Increasing the content of these cereals, our source dietary energy, can help feed a global population whose reliance upon protein is growing faster than crop yields. Here we document heritable expression rice, cereal crop, tRNA lys species that introduce at alternative codons during synthesis, resulting significant enrichment proteins rice seeds without changing types or quantities seed storage proteins.
