ABSTRACT
Abstract Endovaginal ultrasound was used in 30 women to characterize endometrial carcinoma with respect myometrial invasion according FIGO recommendations for surgical staging of cancer. The data were correlated macroscopic findings the uterine specimen and histopathology. Using endovaginal ultrasound, sensitivity detecting > 50% 15/19 or 79%. However, positive predictive value 100%, all cases when suggested 50%. This confirmed on histopathological examination tumor specimen. Cervical extension correctly diagnosed six which it present. seems be a reliable method assessing engagement cervix. non‐invasive could included as an important tool establishment individualized treatment programs carcinoma.
