ABSTRACT
This study investigates the secrecy performance of a hybrid satellite‐terrestrial relay network (HSTRN) in presence multiple eavesdroppers, where satellite link undergoes Shadowed‐Rician fading, while terrestrial follows Rayleigh fading. The authors suppose direct between and intended user is unavailable due to heavy shadowing adopt multi‐antenna using either decode‐and‐forward (DF) or an amplify‐and‐forward (AF) protocol assist transmission. By employing perfect channel state information each at relay, first apply receive maximal ratio combining beamforming (BF) transmit zero‐forcing BF schemes obtain output signal‐to‐noise ratios (SNRs) eavesdroppers. Then, based on Meijer‐G function moment generating function, derive analytical expressions ergodic rate for considered HSTRN both DF AF protocols. Finally, Monte‐Carlo simulations are conducted validate theoretical analysis reveal effects certain representative parameters system performance.
