ABSTRACT
A novel method for joint direction finding and array calibration in multiple‐input multiple‐output (MIMO) radar with unknown gain phase errors is proposed. The transmit receive are innovatively arranged along different axes, which orthogonal to each other. After the trilinear decomposition, influenced matrix combined estimate angles, can be calculated subsequently. proposed algorithm suitable both uniform linear (ULA) non‐ULA, it achieve favourable angle estimation without any auxiliary sensors information of errors. Furthermore, has better performance lower complexity than eigenstructure method. Simulation results verify usefulness approach.
