Multi‐layered dual‐mode substrate integrated waveguide bandpass filter with input and output ports located on same substrate layer

This study reports a multi‐layered dual‐mode substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) bandpass filter (BPF), in which the input and output ports are located on same layer (i.e. upper one). The SIW cavity lower is coupled to by two crossed slots, can independently control inter‐couplings. proposed be modelled dual‐extended doublet coupling scheme with considering bypass couplings between source load. Based structure, single‐ dual‐band filtering responses four controllable finite‐transmission zeros (FTZs) realised analysed. For demonstration, single‐band were fabricated measured. measured results agree well simulated ones.
