ABSTRACT
Introduction Vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty are possible options for vertebral augmentation after osteoporotic fractures. Both percutaneous techniques with specific advantages disadvantages. Our aim is to compare the clinical radiological results of these two procedures. Methods An overview published systematic reviews in literature on effects compared vertebroplasty was performed. Results After short long follow-up, group had lower pain scores visual analogue scale (VAS), Oswestry Disability index (ODI), greater restoration body height kyphosis angle immediate postoperative period. There less leakage cement canal extraspinal spaces. Conclusions Compared vertebroplasty, achieved better relief, quality life, correction spinal deformity risk leakage.
