ABSTRACT
Plasma concentrations of Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) in healthy control persons do not change significantly during adult lifetime and no diurnal changes could be detected. In addition, alterations plasma EGF occur acute chronic stress all three trimesters pregnancy. Thus, the previously suggested theories that might play a causative role activation hypothalamic-pituitary adrenal axis reaction prevention peptic ulcers pregnancy confirmed by present data.
