ABSTRACT
Gratings have been holographically fabricated inside soda–lime glass by two-beam interference of a single 130 fs laser pulse at wavelength 800 nm. Because the grating was localized in focal volume and depth which formed can be controlled translation sample, multiple layers fabricated. As an example, three recorded depths ∼200, ∼400, ∼600 μm, respectively. These gratings read either two recording beams with reduced energy, demonstrates their potential applications integrated optics optical storage.
