Water soluble nano-scale transient material germanium oxide for zero toxic waste based environmentally benign nano-manufacturing

In the recent past, with advent of transient electronics for mostly implantable and secured electronic applications, whole field effect transistor structure has been dissolved in a variety chemicals. Here, we show simple water soluble nano-scale (sub-10 nm) germanium oxide (GeO2) as dissolvable component to remove functional structures metal semiconductor devices then reuse expensive substrate again device fabrication. This way, addition transiency, also an environmentally friendly manufacturing process complementary (CMOS) technology. Every year, trillions are manufactured billions disposed, which extend harmful impact our environment. Therefore, this is key study pragmatic approach high performance bioresorbable applications.
