ABSTRACT
As a multi-beneficial amendment, biochar is very useful to be applied for improving soil health and crop productivity. Therefore, this study was carried out assess the influence of wood mineral nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) potassium (K) fertilisers viz, [(control; 100% NPK (120:90:60 kg ha−1); 75% + 5 tonne biochar; 50% 10 25% 15 20 ha−1)] on wheat yield properties under different management practices [(raised bed (more than 30 cm above ground) flat-bed)]. Split plot two factors randomised completed block (RCB) design with three replications were used where placed main plot, while treatments assigned subplots. Maximum spike length, grain per spike, 1000 weight, biological obtained application ha−1 both raised flat-bed, which statistically at par ha−1. The observed significantly higher that However, maximum organic matter, extractable P K contents slight increases in pH EC Moreover, almost all agronomic parameters better compared flat-bed sowing. Hence, present suggested suitable properties.
