ABSTRACT
Indigenous knowledge is a multilayered system that can effectively manage global ecosystem and biodiversity conservation. Conservation an applied discipline with the goal of preserving world's ecosystems. However, settler&#x2013;coloniser conservation practices often fail to fully examine how epistemologies are centred at expense praxis. Evaluating outside lens become more inclusive just critical area for research reflection. We draw on our own experiences as early-career researchers working towards anticolonial, approaches science practice by discussing what it means be <i>for Place</i>. believe non-Indigenous conservationist who Place</i> advocates stewardship Peoples other marginalised communities conserve species ecosystems connections bind their landscapes.
