ABSTRACT
The partial amino acid sequence of the NH2 terminus a factor named human B-cell differentiation or stimulatory 2 (BSF-2) has been determined. Antibodies raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to residues 1-13 NH2-terminal specifically react with BSF-2 generated by T-cell line and phytohemagglutinin-stimulated normal T cells. Furthermore, antipeptide antibodies BSF-2-like produced cardiac myxoma as well uterine cervical carcinoma results show that functions in vivo suggest constitutive production may be involved autoantibody production, since patients showed production.
