Experimental research on vehicle active suspension based on time-delay control

ABSTRACT
To improve the ride comfort of vehicle and high-efficiency control requirements suspension, this paper proposes a time-delay strategy idea using linear motor as actuator. This analyses damping characteristics in time domain frequency domains. A equivalent excitation method is proposed to optimise optimal parameters under complex excitations. The stability system analysed. effect active suspension verified by numerical simulation. An experimental hardware platform was built further verify effectiveness strategy. results show that relative errors root mean square values simulation are within 16% each working condition. results.
