New method for measuring fabric multi-directional stiffness and drape

A method that can measure fabric multi-directional bending performance and draping property simultaneously is proposed new parameters, projection area length are extracted for the characterization. total of 30 fabrics tested with as well cantilever test umbrella method. Results show parameters have good correlationship property. Bending in four directions two groups indexes each direction be acquired only one sample. Compared conventional widely used, this article more efficient time-saving. At same time, it drape specific direction. Therefore, combine into one.
