ABSTRACT
This study describes different types of orbital osteoma based on clinical per-operative morphology and radiological findings to facilitate communication between ophthalmologists surgical management for a better patient outcome.The was conducted in the Orbit Oculoplastics Department Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, Rawalpindi, Pakistan, from July 1, 2001 June 30, 2014. A retrospective analysis 520 diagnosed tumours who presented us carried out prevalence determined. The sampling technique non-randomized sampling. Based observed during intervention as well osteoma, simple yet useful description introduced.The revealed 2.3% (n = 12) osteoma. our observation 12 cases we have classified into combination seven types: "sessile" or broad-based osteoma; "pedunculated" mushroom with thin cylindrical stalk origin; "dumb-bell"-shaped simultaneous presence adjoining sinus/nasal cavity; "wrapped" covered by cartilaginous layer; "naked" without any such covering; "homogenous" uniformly dense "heterogeneous", soft-dense varying areas density.This attempts introduce first time removal
