Five viruses are known infect this crop Colombia: Soybean mosaic virus (SMV), Cowpea aphid-borne (CABMV), Passion yellow (PFYMV), Cucumber (CMV), and tentative species Gulupa bacilliform A (GBVA). In addition, emerging caused by begomoviruses were reported on other Passiflora Colombia. The incidence these adult plants, plantlets, seeds from southwestern Antioquia was investigated based molecular approaches. PFYMV GBVA scored highest (>90%). Sequence analyses partial genomes confirmed presence PFYMV, SMV variants purple plants grown commercial fields at Antioquia.
