ABSTRACT
Since 1 January 2020, the Central Research Ethics Committee of Health Ministry implemented PRIISA.BA, an in-house developed electronic system for online submission health research applications to 63 public and private ethics committees (RECs) Buenos Aires City, Argentina. This study though compare times first review time approval among submitted prior PRIISA.BA thereafter, across RECs. All RECs city were invited participate. Overall, 453 from 10 (242 pre- 211 post-PRIISA.BA) available analyses. There was a decrease in increase after implementation. The transient limited three months. results consistent with analyses non-COVID applications. Our show implementation that, although transient, significant. These data could be relevant other implementing this technology since it emphasizes need monitoring potential unnecessary delays reviews during critical initial period.
