ABSTRACT
Messenger RNA vaccines are the main COVID-19 authorized for use in United States. Side effects typically minor and transient. We report a case series of four subjects with an acute myocarditis-like illness following mRNA vaccination who were hospitalized at our hospital Lubbock, Texas. Three patients young men presented chest pain after second dose mRNA-1273 vaccine. Another patient was 53-year-old white woman left arm 3 days first She later found to have decompensated heart failure, endomyocardial biopsy revealed eosinophilic injury-mediated myocarditis.
