Human–Otter was moderate, opinions community members toward otters were mostly negative, particularly those sector. However, after offering environmental education workshops, number people recognizing importance protecting species increased, which could result acceptance tolerance Avoiding building at ground level covering metal mesh, especially fish-farms located middle upper areas rivers, as explored fish-farmers, merits more experimentation, since it be a good means for reducing conflict.KEYWORDS: Aquaculture farmsenvironmental educationfishery sectorhuman–wildlife conflictLontra longicaudis Disclosure statementNo potential interest reported author(s).Additional informationFundingThe work supported US Fish Wildlife Service [F17AP00522].
