ABSTRACT
Pre-existing bedrock structures that reactivated following deglaciation through a combination of tectonic and isostatic stresses are well documented in northern Fennoscandia. Due to their possible implications for seismic hazards, there is need document the locations geometries these features. The recent availability high-resolution, LiDAR-derived, digital elevation model covering most Sweden provides an ideal base upon which map post-glacial fault scarps appear crosscut glacial sediments landforms. current mapping project has identified new central Sweden, both refined rejected previously mapped by aerial photographic interpretation Sweden. No scarps, however, were southern inventory available download will be updated as more data become available.
