ABSTRACT
Introduction: Burn healing is a complicated process and very few treatments can positively alter its effects. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects Salvia miltiorrhiza (SM -Danshen), traditional Chinese medicine, on burn wound healing.Material methods: Twenty rats were included in divided into two groups. 3 × 2 cm wide areas created dorsal skin all animals with thermal contact. Intraoral 1 ml/day saline g/kg/day SM given control experiment groups, respectively. Fourteen days following injury zones evaluated indocyanine green-SPY imaging device, multiple samples collected for histopathological evaluation. Standard photographs taken evaluation necrotic areas. Results: Neovascularization increased group when compared (p = 0.0406). SPY studies revealed meaningful increase tissue perfusion 0.0286). average amount area postoperative 14th day 71.6% (±16.51) 42.5% (±10.64) respectively 0.0002).Conclusion: Our shows that decrease necrosis wounds by increasing neovascularization.
