ABSTRACT
Cornus hongkongensis Hemsl. 1888, native to Hong Kong, belongs the subgenus Syncarpea within genus of Cornaceae family. The complete chloroplast genome C. spans 156,954 bp, comprising four subregions: a large single-copy region (86,290 bp), small (18,394 and pair inverted repeats (26,135 bp). Within hongkongensis, we identified 113 unique genes, including 80 protein-encoding ribosomal RNA (rRNA) 30 transfer (tRNA) genes. Phylogenetic analysis based on related taxa indicates that has not formed monophyletic lineage. Analyses sequence divergence found three intergenic regions rps19-rpl22, ccsA-ndhD, atpH-atpI, exhibiting high degree variations. first was reported in this work contributes enrichment genomic data for Cornus.
