ABSTRACT
CD30 is a member of the tumor necrosis factor superfamily and surface marker for Hodgkin's disease. Normal activated T cells several virally transformed or B cell lines also show expression. The interaction with its ligand induces death proliferation, depending on type. In this report we characterize signals mediated by intracellular domain that, in combination signal(s) transduced receptor, multimerization cytoplasmic Fas(CD95)-independent hybridomas. Deletion analysis shows that COOH-terminal 66 amino acids are required to induce death. Using yeast two-hybrid system, have identified same region interacts receptor-associated (TRAF)1 TRAF2. These results indicate TRAF1 and/or TRAF2 play an important role addition their previously roles proliferation.
