ABSTRACT
Abstract Thick film indium oxide chemiresistive sensors decorated with PdO and PtO 2 particles were investigated for oxygen detection under humid conditions (tested ranging from 20%–80% RH) across a temperature range of 50 °C to 400 °C. The -decorated In O 3 demonstrated significantly higher response oxygen, showing 500% increase at 200 compared the PdO-decorated (response values 41 8, respectively). Tests in dry air conducted assess effect humidity on sensor performance, revealing maximum 74 -In °C, more than three times 22 PdO-In . Selectivity tests confirmed that responded strongly interfering gases. integration an active carbon cloth (ACC) filter effectively reduced interferences isobutylene ethylene, enhancing sensor’s selectivity. A comparison both has greater potential as alternative existing Pb-based electrochemical sensors, particularly environments.
