ABSTRACT
Introduction: Chair based exercise (CBE) is often recommended to engage older people with compromised health and mobility in an accessible form of exercise. A systematic review looking at the benefits CBE for identified a lack clarity regarding purpose [Anthony et al, Biomed Research International, 2013, ID: 309506]. In absence strong evidence base consensus development may provide basis decision making further guidance. Objective: To develop on principles Methods: The framework was constructed through team workshop identifying 42 statements. four round electronic Delphi study 17 multi-disciplinary experts undertaken. threshold 70% agreement used determine consensus.
