ABSTRACT
The pathogenesis of cancer is influenced by interactions among genes, proteins, metabolites and other small molecules. Understanding progression at the metabolic level propitious to visual decoding changes in living organisms. To date, a large number biomarkers have been measured reported, which provide an alternative method for precision diagnosis, treatment prognosis. systematically understand heterogeneity cancers, we developed database CMBD integrate scattered over literatures PubMed. At present, contains 438 manually curated relationships between 282 76 subtypes 18 tissues reported 248 literatures. Users can access comprehensive biomarker information about references, clinical samples their from our online database. As case studies, pathway analysis was performed on breast prostate respectively. 'Phenylalanine, tyrosine tryptophan biosynthesis', 'phenylalanine metabolism' 'primary bile acid biosynthesis' were identified as playing key roles cancer. 'Glyoxylate dicarboxylate metabolism', 'citrate cycle (TCA cycle)', 'alanine, aspartate glutamate important functions These findings us with understanding initiation progression.
